Coaching is the Path from Desire - to Commitment - to Action - to Fulfillment
About Laura Page
Laura (Levesque) Page, R.H.N. completed her training with the Coaches Training Institute, the international leader in coach schooling. She has worked as a registered holistic nutritionist (R.H.N.), and certified holistic nutritional trainer for almost ten years. Laura is also a health writer. She teaches nutritional workshops that focus on integrating the whole person (mind-body-spirit) to promote transformational change in various locations including Whole Foods-Napa and Exertec Health and Fitness Center. She is the author of www.thehealthyjunkie.com, inspiring readers to lead healthier lives through nutrition, mind-set and “healthy eating challenges.”
Having had cancer three times, by the age of twenty-five, propelled Laura into a life of wanting to protect others from having to go through unnecessary pain and disease. Having healed herself naturally of cancer, provoked deep insights into how precious and transformative life can be when we take responsibility for our actions and learn to love ourselves deeply. As a coach, R.H.N. and workshop leader, Laura is committed to helping us see what is possible in our lives and staying on track to live up to our fullest potential.
An excerpt from her recently finished memoir (not yet in print) was published in the magazine, Law of Attraction: Happy Healthy Wealthy, July, 2011. Articles detailing her story of triumph over cancer have been published in The Napa Valley Register, July, 2011 and Napa Valley Life Magazine, August, 2011. Laura also appeared on the radio show, “Kellie in the Morning” 1440 KVON and 99.3 THE VINE, on August, 30th, 2011. She will be on the radio show again on January, 4th, 2012 to promote the January, 2012, “Eat Healthy Challenge.” She was also featured in Mutineer Magazine, Nov/Dec, 2011, as an Inspired Beverage Voice with her green smoothie. Her article, New Beginnings for a New Year: Transform Resolutions into Lifestyle Changes is published in Napa Valley Life Magazine, Dec/Jan, 2011.
In addition to her work as R.H.N. and life coach, Laura completed a Bachelor of Commerce degree, with honors, in marketing and finance, in 1999. Due to her unprecedented success in Whistler, Canada, as Director of Marketing in resort sales, she was transferred to Napa, California, in 2007, to manage her team of forty employees. She continues to live in Napa with her husband and dog. She left her position as Marketing Director, in 2010, to complete her wellness memoir (not yet published) and focus on what she’s truly passionate about: To inspire, motivate and support others to be passionate, happy, healthy and balanced in body, mind and spirit.
She has worked as a Business Analyst in Communications where her role was to increase revenue in radio, television and new media. In her roles as VP Finance for the Concordia Student Union, Business Analyst for the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, Marketing Director for Shell Vacations Club, and Owner of Pure Health Enterprises, she has written business plans, strategic marketing campaigns, press releases, brochures and advertising copy.
Laura's Clients and Philosophy
Laura works with clients who desire to live rich, fulfilling lives where they take an active part in designing the kind of life they want to live along the way—at every stage of their lives. She works with clients on many different aspects; health and wellness, cancer balancing and illness management, career and business decisions, leadership and management, as well as relationships and communication.
Laura’s hope is that in the end, when we’re looking back over the years, we feel we’ve accomplished something and lived an authentic, healthy life with a deep understanding of who we are and what we value. We have left no stones unturned. We see ourselves as successful, whole and happy—in whatever way that means to us.
Unfortunately, most of us don’t slow down to contemplate our lives and integrate significant positive changes unless there is a catastrophic event such as an illness, death, divorce or accident. Laura believes it’s necessary to take the time to design our lives every step of the way and not wait for a wakeup call. Of course wake-up calls can be strong motivators for positive change and this is initially what attracts many of her clients.
In short, she believes we have the power to create the life we want. Sometimes we just need a keen ear and a helping hand to remind us of who we truly are and what we genuinely intend. Her promise—as coach—is to help us figure out, stay on track, and create the path (or moments) we want to be our life.
